At Promise Kennels, we have been dedicated to breeding and training purebred Golden Retrievers and English Springer Spaniels since 1990. Our journey began with a passion for these remarkable breeds and a commitment to upholding the highest standards in breeding and training. With over three decades of experience, we have become a trusted source for well-bred Goldens and Springers for families in the USA, Canada, Australia, and South Africa.

We specialize in breeding and training purebred Golden Retrievers and English Springer Spaniels. Our advanced training programs cater to service dogs, show dog preparation, and grooming services. We are proud to be AKC Breeders of Merit and use positive reinforcement techniques to ensure the well-being and success of every dog in our care.

With over three decades of experience, (35 years as of 2025) Promise Kennels has worked towards excellence in the breeding and training of Golden Retrievers and English Springer Spaniels. Our dedication to upholding the highest standards has earned us the trust of families around the world. While "retirement" from breeding may happen at some point in the future, God willing, we are committed to continuing our legacy for several years to come.

In 2022 Promise Kennels relocated to the beautifully stunning, hilly and green Northeast area of Texas. We are in the perfect area - an easy hour drive from DFW megaplex, 3 1/2 hours from Houston, 3 hours 45 minutes from Austin.

But don’t let our location deter you from a Promise puppy! There are many ways to get a well-bred puppy to their new home 😊 
For instance, we drove puppies to AZ, NV, PA, VA, and CA in January/February 2024!!! I also flew out with a 3 month old in March 2024. I have met a new owner in Dallas at the airport with their puppy who was ready for her next adventure. If you don’t want to fly out, I have a friend who is a Puppy Nanny who will fly with a puppy to an airport near you AND if that doesn’t work for you, my friend’s mom is a long distance truck driver who drives coast to coast and is willing to drive a puppy to California.
